b. 1:19b-20 TWO EARS HEAR MORE: ONE MOUTH SPEAKS LESS

EStode pas ANthro-pos taCHUS eis to aKOUsai, braDUS eis to laLEsai, braDUS eis orGEN:

But let every man be swift to :hear, slow to :speak, slow to wrath:

orGEgar anDROS di-kai-oSUnen TheOU ouk erGAze-tai.

20 for man’s wrath works not God’s righteousness.

c. 1:21 OUR NEED: REPLACE WORKS OF FLESH WITH LIVING WORD

di’ ho a-poTHEme-noi PAsan 'ru-paRIan [4507]kai pe-risSEIan kaKIas,

HE is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:

ka-teNOe-sen gar he-auTON, kai a-peLElu-then, kai euTHEos e-peLAthe-to [1950]hoPOIos en.

24 for he beholds himself, and goes away, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was.

If any thinks himselfto be religious, not bridling his own tongue

Pure religion and undefiled before our:God and Father is this,

to visit orphans and widows in their :affliction,

ASpi-lon [784]he-auTON teREIN aPO tou KOSmou.

and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

NOTE: Various revivals have various ear-marks. The 1994 Toronto Blessing reached east to Great Britain primarily to fulfill its blessing. It was like Ezekiel’s river to the ankles. Pensacola added dimensions of repentance and holiness to this foundation, and brought the river to the knees. The 1948 Northern Canada Visitation saw the river to the loins, and added the Presbytery Concept, Apostles & Prophets to the 5-fold ministries of Ephesians 4:11-12, and the Heavenly Choir restored from the meetings of Mrs. Maria Woodworth-Etter in the teen years and the twenties.

But what we are about to experience just prior to the return of our Lord Jesus – rivers to swim in – will be all past revivals gathered into one, and multiplied by 10 to 100.

James 1:27 is especially illustrated in the present Mozambique Revival led by Heidi and Rolland Baker under God. 2000 orphans are having their needs met. 5000 churches have been raised up since 1994. Some 12 adjunct countries in Southern Africa have also been strongly touched. (Do a “Google” search under “Iris Ministries” for more information.)

Rolland is grandson of H.A. Baker, author of “Visions Beyond the Veil” and many other titles, and an outreach to Chinese orphans and beggars of Kunming that is most remarkable.
